This is a new install and I have the latest updates and drivers. There's clearly an issue here but I can't work like this, it's happening almost every day now. I discovered a few moments later (by playing back again) that the click had turned off bypass on a limiter on the master fader (right at the other end of the fader panel). I bypassed it but as soon as I did, I noticed it was not right as the mixer display had become corrupted and I could see the redraw. The other night, I was trying to a/b a plug-in on playback. It's not showing up the changes it's applied wrongly in the mixer history. It happens regularly on the medium and large projects and I've had to back track on the times when a change has been applied to the wrong plug in or fader etc. I have to exit Cubase altogether and restart it. You can see the mixer redrawing and the mixer looks corrupted and wrong. Then the mixer just keeps doing it and becomes unusable. If you try to change something before you realize it's doing it, the wrong track gets affected. The redraw is visible, slow and corrupted.

It shows a view of a certain position along the fader rack but you can then see it visibly redrawing as its playing back. On playback of some projects, the mixer view does not display correctly. I've had another recurring issue too with the mixer: That and the fact that this happens on the project with stock plug-ins leads me to think that it's perhaps not down to a 3rd party plug-in in itself. I don't get this problem with Cubase 7.5, 8.5 or 9. The same VSTs are also in use in those projects. I have other similar sized projects (some larger) in Cubase 8.5 and 9 but I have not had this issue with C8.5 or 9. It seems to be on medium/large projects (more tracks, more plugins).ДЄs mentioned, it happens when only using the stock plug-ins too. This is actually a recent clean install on this studio PC too. I'm not convinced this is down to a 3rd party VST in itself, as one of these projects only uses stock plugins. The menu bar does not respond and I have to close it with task manager. I left it for an hour, came back and nothing had changed. It seems to close the project, but then task manager just reports Cubase 9.5 is not responding. On a number of projects, when I close the project Cubase 9.5 just hangs.
